Shy people are sometimes called “shrinking violets,” but violet-y perfume notes have a beautiful way of getting attention! This molecule’s powdery sweetness evokes candied violets. Its woody and berry-like nuances can be amplified in combination with other notes; it's also a key material for creating iris accords.
All notes are partially diluted in perfume alcohol to make them easy to blend together. Always dilute further (10x) before applying to your skin. Each note should be no more than 10% of your final blend. For example, if you're making a 10ml perfume, use no more than 1ml of each note. If you only want to use a few notes in your blend, use perfume alcohol to reach the 10ml mark.
Don't apply directly to skin before diluting further (see Dilution & Safety). Store tightly sealed bottles in a dry place away from light and heat.
